Raoul Filiaine

Former CEO of TrustEnergy (a joint venture between ENGIE and Marubeni and the second largest power producer in Portugal) from 2016 to 2020, Raoul Filaine has an in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese renewables market and an extensive experience in renewables development in Europe and Portugal more specifically.

Within ENGIE, Raoul has more than 17 years of experience in various functions. He first evolved in the financial sector as Senior Financial Advisor, providing financial support on investment (acquisitions or greenfield) or divestment projects in Western and South Europe (UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal).

Then, he moved on to a career as Senior Business developer to develop a geothermal electricity generation project. More recently, he worked on several renewable projects (wind, solar, hydro, and biomass) opportunities, mainly in Portugal.
He also provided significant support for ENGIE’s H2 projects in Portugal.

Raoul holds an MBA Programme in PUB and Business Administration complemented by a Master’s Degree in Finance.
